As someone who does NOT have any romantic feelings to anyone, I’m still a little annoyed that every one of my friends are in relationships and even people I know. This is probably the one thing that kinda annoyed me. Anyways onto my review, where I’d most likely be gushing about how much I like this series. I have 5 books left by him, before I officially caught up with his work, and 7 marvel movies left to watch before I’m caught up. I should pretty much shut up about talking about Rick Riordan. Why couldn’t anyone tell me that his books were awesome, make that force me to read them so I could figure out what I was missing? Me being the idiot I was, thought mythology books were very lame and that Greek Mythology was really stupid, decided to skip over his books until 7th grade where I magically picked up The Lightning Thief and loved it. And yes, almost everyday I beat myself for not reading his books sooner because they are awesome. Okay well I did, but here’s the funny story. What he says online is awesome, even though he attacks his readers (in a good way). I feel like it would be really cool to see him in person. This is one of the main reasons why I say I love Rick Riordan. He is also a champion for using his privilege to publish #ownvoices books under his imprint, Rick Riordan Presents. But the fact that he acts like one of us is awesome because he’s like the only author I know that does. It isn’t because of his books, though that’s partial the reason. It’s literally no secret that Rick Riordan is one of my favorite authors. Is a knife evil? Only if the wielder is evil.” Also will contain spoilers for The Lost Hero, Son of Neptune and Mark of Athena.
